Alice Ehrlich had the opportunity to find out how Sir Nick Partridge OBE has journeyed his career thus far in the voluntary/charity sector.

Sir Nick Partridge OBE was one of the first full-time employees of the Terrence Higgins Trust. He joined in 1985 when HIV/AIDS was still a devastating and terrifying epidemic in the UK, and THT was in an embryonic form. Since being appointed Chief Executive in 1991, he has guided THT through the development of effective antiretroviral drugs, a drastic change in the demographic of people living with HIV, an economic recession, and various mergers. THT is now the most influential HIV and sexual health charity in the UK.
